number of sick kids at our church, we had a terrific group for class
and active discussion. Here are a few quick reminders:
GROW
I spoke with Ricky last night after they returned from their GROW
visit. His GROW partner was able to share the gospel with a man, and
he accepted Christ! It was yet another amazing moment that God had
planned in advance. Whether you write cards or make calls or do
visits, we will make an impact for God's kingdom next week. Let's
have a huge attendance for GROW on March 1.
WORDS of AFFIRMATION
If you were with us last night, you left the class with an affirming
note for your spouse. Give it to them! If you were not able to be
with us, we spent class discussing the power of words and affirming
actions to those around us. You never truly know what a person is
thinking or experiencing. The kindness you show to your spouse, child
or friend could make an enormous difference in their lives. Do NOT
miss an opportunity to demonstrate kindness even if (and especially
if) it means putting yourself in second place. "Therefore encourage
one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
I Thessalonians 5:11
